The second source of data was collected from informants who gave information about accuracy, acceptability and readability of the translation as affective data. And, the last source of data was translators and editor as genetic data. Techniques of collecting data were document analysis, distributing questionnaire, and interviewing. Purposive sampling was applied in this research.
The research findings show that there were 18 kinds of translation techniques from 731 techniques applied by the translator within 285 data. Based on their frequencies applied in the translation, the techniques are amplification 122 (16,69%), literal translation 86 (11,76%), establish equivalence 84 (11,49%), modulation 73 (9,99%), pure borrowing 71 (9,71%), reduction/implicitation 61 (8,34%), adaptation 57 (7,80%), addition 37 (5,06%), transposition 27 (3,69%), generalization 22 (3,01%), calque 19 (2,60%), inversion 16 (2,19%), particularization 15 (2,05%), omission 15 (2,05%), discursive creation 10 (1,37%), description 9 (1,23%), naturalized borrowing 5 (0,82%), and correction 1 (0,14%).
